National Chidren's Chamber Orchestra
Standard works of the chamber orchestra are studied, backed up with sectional coaching ready for a performance at the end of the Easter course. The NCCO has had music especially written for the group, which helps to strike a balance between classical and modern repertoire. Grade 7 + by audition. National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra
Join the orchestra for a one week residential course near Leeds, 31 July - 8th August 2010 with public performances on 6th and 7th August at Cleckheaton Town Hall and Bradford Cathedral. Participants need to be 13yrs+, grade 5+ and scouts or guides. www.scoutbase.org.uk

Scottish Borders Community Orchestra
SBCO instrumental groups meet regularly for nine months of the year, offering players a chance to play together, learn new repertoire and improve their skills and technique under the direction of profesional tutors. The Cello Club meets fortnightly on Thursday evenings at Earlston Primary School in Earlston. There is also a monthly Strings Training Orchestra on Sunday afternoons from 2 - 4pm at Abbey Row Centre, Kelso with the option of Chamber Music practice from 4 - 5pm. www.sbco.org.uk
