Dear little cellist
We know that although playing the cello is really fun, very often something you are meant to be learning seems almost impossible. And perhaps it goes on seeming impossible for quite a long time. Your hand just won't do what you are telling it to do. But you keep trying and then all of a sudden you can do whatever it is, and you can't remember what all the fuss was about.
Which is why we've added some special Certificates of Achievement to littlecellist.com. To find them just look under Printables. Hopefully there will be some more designs to follow. If you tell your teacher about them, s/he can award one to you for being able to put your fingers in first position, or for mastering a shift or some tricky bowing, or just for accomplishing six impossible things before breakfast.
